Harley Street Group
Over the past 10 years Harley Street Group has been researching the subject of Heart Rate Variability (HRV). This period has brought HSG into contact with an international body of eminent academics, scientists, mathematicians and clinicians, many of whom are still currently active with HSG.

From 2000 a series of scientific and clinical dossiers have been produced by HSG and are displayed within this section.

Harley Street Group commissioned a dossier in 2001 entitled “Stress Measurement - The Clinical Evidence”. This major work comprises a large body of independent scientific and clinical research undertaken over the last 40 years together with hundreds of published papers, including a new stress definition and an introduction to the concept of coping, stress reserves and health monitoring.

A preface to this work and several of its successors has been written by Professor A J S Coats a leading cardiologist formerly of Imperial College, London and now Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Sydney University, Australia. This dossier explains the use of HRV as a reliable stress and stress reserve-monitoring tool.

Subsequent dossiers relate to specific topics such as absence management, stress in the workplace, UK law, obligations of employers, Stresserve® Index recordings, individual data sets and group reports.

Also within this section are documents relating to validation of the Harley Street Group HRV measurement system, the clinical relevance of HRV together with details of the numerous scientific and clinical papers and publications used by HSG in its documentation over the past 10 years.

Heart Rate Variability is a much researched topic and HSG offers a number of dossiers and other material for free download on this website. For any further information please contact us at info@harleystreetgroup.com
